Joe Paternoster has been an educator for over the past 16 years. He has served as a teacher, coordinator, instructional coach, and administrator. His specialization of working with students with disabilities is guided by his personal principle and mission - understanding that everyone can learn. Joe also spent 7 years as a Fire Fighter on the Fire Island National Seashore, serving with a team of first responders on rehabbing the island immediately after the devastation occurred from Hurricane Sandy. Joe holds a B.A. in English from the University at Albany, an M.S. in Adolescent Education specializing in Students with Disabilities from Mercy College, and a professional certificate in Educational Leadership from The College of St. Rose. Joe became part of the Momentum Education Community in 2013, quickly finding himself emerged in many trainings as a volunteer coach. It was within the Leadership program that Joe found his niche. As a born and raised New Yorker, Joe has found his results based style and approach in leadership, supports those with already busy career, family, and personal lives, to exceed in living the life they’ve only dreamed.
