Expertise on any given topic isn't enough - delivery is a powerful force. People who present well are often looked to for guidance and decisions and are awarded opportunities ahead of others. This is your opportunity to optimize your presentation skills to be one of those people.
Are you effective leading a discussion around a table or presenting to a room? Do people hear the words that you say or are they distracted by other messages from your body language and ways of being? What works well and what doesn't? This is your opportunity to learn to align all of your messaging to communicate powerfully in all situations - whether a professional conference of 500, an intimate wedding toast, or anything in between.
Level 1 will be an opportunity to get feedback on how you are, learn practical tools, and begin practicing your presentation skills. You will receive extensive coaching and specific skills to address any areas that aren't working the way you intend and to leverage those that are. The workshop will be divided into teams of approximately 5-6 people based on your area of focus (e.g. groups of 3-10 people vs. 50-100+). You will work together and support each other throughout the 3-week process as each of you masters your presentation skills.
In between Level 1 and Level 2, you will have fieldwork consisting of presentations to people in your lives (personal or professional presentations as you choose - suggested parameters will be given for each assignment). You will be provided with feedback forms to give to those present, so you can receive their feedback as well. This information will be submitted to Momentum and addressed during Level 2. You will also be able to reach out for coaching and support as you progress through your fieldwork.
Level 2 will be the culmination of your feedback and learning. Based on the feedback you've received and your practice, you will have the opportunity to look at what you've learned, what works, and how to leverage it further. You will also have the opportunity to identify which areas will benefit from further attention and design ongoing practices to continue your presentation skills development beyond the workshop.
